Day 21 - Wouldn't It Be Nice If 7Eleven Had A Drive Thru Window?

Day 20 - Model A convention

I was driving by the 7Eleven here in Noble when all these Ford Model As started pulling in, so I circled around and came back for a picture. There were at least 11 and I think more to come.

Day 19 - Lindsey Closed

They've were digging up the parking lot south of here (the left side) and the practice field (the right side) before while school was open but now they've opened up the road. Hope they get it done before school starts again!


Funny story. Not too long after this picture was taken, they hit the natural gas line forcing the campus to be evacuated for a day!

Day 18 - New Norman Hospital

While I was still driving for John Deere this hospital was being built. I still don't know what it's called though.

Day 17 - The National Weather Service

Along Hwy 9 and on Jenkins is the Oklahoma State National Weather Service building. Supposedly the weather here is so hard to predict that this is the premier arena to train meteorologists. At least, that what everyone told me on my mission.

Day 16: Tornado Damage

May 10 a tornado went through Norman and beyond. Here is a picture of the damage causing the Highway 9 to be shut down.

Day 15: Lexington Spider

This black widow bug was crawling its way to the highway when I shot it dead in its tracks with my Nikon.
