Just a little tidbit about the Memorial Stadium: The Stadium was originally commissioned by the US Government probably from an FDR New Deal move as a War Memorial for Veterans and Fallen Soldiers or something to that effect.
Later on the Gaylord Family contributed a lot of money when it got remodelled and so the stadium got called the Gaylord Studium, but people remembered that it had been some sort of memorial for something and it became the Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium. Then people realised WHAT it was supposed to memorialise and they made a small monument outside the stadium for that purpose. However, the whole Stadium when it was built WAS the memorial and now they have a small plaque or something outside of (but on the grounds of) the stadium.

How sad that they just put a little plaque by it. For rudeness!
