Day 8: Anne and Henry Zarrow Hall groundbreaking

I just happened to be driving by when I saw this. Here is the groundbreaking dedication for the Anne and Henry Zarrow Hall for the School of Social Work.

How I know the name and the future look of the Zarrow Hall.

New weapon upgrade: Nikon Coolpix will replace the poor graphics of my Poloroid.

Day 7: Symmetry of the North Oval (Parrington Oval)

The Center of the Evans Hall matches with the flagpole and the American Indian statue even to the yellow lines in the street. You can't see the archways on either side of this but there is symmetry in them as well. Even the East and West Wings of Evans Hall line up with the East and West drives of the Parrington Oil. The line of symmetry also goes through the old Bizzell Library and the old Van Vleet oval and the indermediate encampment.

Day 6: Fred Jones Jr Museum of Art

Corner of Elm and Boyd. Doesn't really match the Campus.

Day 5: Headington Family Tennis Center

This is the parking lot that surrounds the Lloyd Noble Center. Behind this is the Soccer field (to the right), the Outdoor Tennis courts, and the Rugby field (to the left).

4 Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium from Jenkins

Just a little tidbit about the Memorial Stadium: The Stadium was originally commissioned by the US Government probably from an FDR New Deal move as a War Memorial for Veterans and Fallen Soldiers or something to that effect.

Later on the Gaylord Family contributed a lot of money when it got remodelled and so the stadium got called the Gaylord Studium, but people remembered that it had been some sort of memorial for something and it became the Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium. Then people realised WHAT it was supposed to memorialise and they made a small monument outside the stadium for that purpose. However, the whole Stadium when it was built WAS the memorial and now they have a small plaque or something outside of (but on the grounds of) the stadium.

3 McFarlin United Methodist Church

On my way to studio I drive by this church. Also it is has a nice parking lot that is roughly half way between Arch on Main (where my Studio is) and the Campus (where my Lecture Arch class and English class are). Although it isn't perfect it IS closer and I am thankful that they allow us poor college kids to use it (except during funerals and Sundays). I would really love to go inside and see if it is as impressive inside as it is outside.

2: Post Oak Road in Spring

This is a view of Post Oak Road between Eighth (36th?) and Main Street (Classen) in Noble (Norman). Until Easter things have been looking pretty bleak, then the Redbuds blossomed and the trees grew leaves.

Sorry, I know I just started but I'm already cheating. This was actually taken yesterday and even before the Sam Noble photo was taken, and here I am using it for todays picture. I forgot to get a new one and I took a couple of pictures as possible pics of the day but put them on the backburner for a busy day.

DBO Norman & Sam Noble OMNH

Due to the fact I no longer am driving for John Deere I can no longer travel around the state taking pictures of it. So in order to evolve and stay current I have created this Blog. Since I mostly drive around Noble and Norman all day I will take one shot of these two towns every day and post them on this blog.

This is the Sam Noble Museum. I have been designing a hypothetical project for the encampment out front.
